Vertical Fall Arrest Systems
The Safety Centre can offer several different Vertical Fall Arrest/Protection Systems products for a variety of vertical structures and climbing applications, which when used with an Attachment Device provides a highly functional, robust and cost effective vertical fall arrest safety solution.
These are designed to ensure the worker remains as close to the structure as possible during climbing, which, in the event of a fall means that they travel only a very short distance before fall arrest. This reduces the forces on the user and the structure, mitigates the risk of injuries from collisions and therefore reduces the potential need for rescue.
The Vertical Fall Arrest Systems are especially interesting for operators of large utilities networks such as telecoms, electricity and wind farm operators and is of course equally suitable for industrial safety applications such as safe climbing of ladders to access roofs, chimney stacks, silos, lighting columns, ships masts, theme park rides, bridges and many, many more. We can also offer an extension bracket to enable safe access and egress at roof level, a problem which can often be overlooked when a ladder is manufactured and fitted with a safety system.
