Re-test & Certification
As part of the comprehensive service The Safety Centre provides, we would be pleased to ensure that your company meets this requirement by arranging one of our competent technicians to carry out a thorough re-test of the system(s).
Clause 12.1.2 of BS 7883 states that, "at least once every 12 months each anchor device should be examined in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions by a competent person."
We provide annual inspections for several types of fall arrest and fall protection systems - such as Cable systems, Vertical systems, Rope Access systems, Eyebolts, Access Ladders & Guardrails.
Please note Rope access eyebolts and abseil fixings require testing and examining every 6 months to comply with BS EN353 7985:2002
Whilst on site we also inspect any PPE items used with the systems.
If the system(s) passes the inspection, it is then re-tagged and Certificates will be issued for the following twelve months. Our staff will then contact you in time for your next re-test date
